Peter Grandy
Artist Statement
Studio 4 – 26
Peter is a stained-glass artist of more than 20 years. A retired Congregationalist Minister, he enjoys creating in and teaching the copper foil method, also called the Tiffany Method. With subject matter ranging from whimsical animals to abstract patterns and wild trees, you will often see agate or geode slabs in his work. The latter a nod to one of his other lifelong passions, lapidary. Many of Peter’s abstract pieces are a collaboration with his daughter, Laura (Grandy) McGann, who shares the studio and drafts many of their one-of-a-kind designs. Peter is a new resident of Holliston, as of Summer 2019.
